Creature Builder+ — unofficial No Man's Sky fan tool. Application and adapted catalog: GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. Corresponding application source is available at /source.zip. Creature species and descriptor data: vectorcmdr/NMSE (AGPL-3.0). https://github.com/vectorcmdr/NMSE Reference project: NMSCD/Creature-Builder. https://github.com/NMSCD/Creature-Builder 3D geometry, diffuse textures, palette tables and material data: Hello Games / No Man's Sky, extracted from the user's local game using NMSDK and converted into compressed glTF previews. Game assets remain the property of Hello Games; the application license does not relicense them. NMSDK: https://github.com/monkeyman192/NMSDK (GPL-3.0). Three.js: https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js (MIT). Draco decoder: Google Draco (Apache-2.0). https://github.com/google/draco Compatibility target: 6.45.1 The Swarm. Checked 2026-09-05. No runtime game testing has been performed. Color seeds export to the game; the preview uses original texture colors rather than an RGB tint. Game animation clips and skeletons were extracted and converted on 2026-09-11 using MBINCompiler 7.01.0-pre1 and a conversion-only NMSDK adapter. Original diffuse and surface-mask textures are shown with neutral studio lighting. Preview palettes use original game colors with an approximate seed arrangement. Prismatic surfaces and translucent membranes approximate game effects; exact seed palettes, biome lighting and bone variation are not emulated. Legacy fish C-F contain plain, unrigged geometry. Special fauna can have companion limitations. Appearance and Arena update checked 2026-09-13. Fract cube uses an approximate red-orb effect reconstruction on the native creature animation socket. Arena field mappings follow NMSE CompanionPanel and round-trip tests. Multi-region preview uses original procedural BASE, TINT, UNDERBELLY and fixed SKIN texture definitions and alpha masks. Palette selection remains approximate. Geno-Prawn appearance preset: installed REWARDTABLE.MBIN / R_PB_MEDAL_EGG5. Names checked against game English localization. Featured diffuse and normal detail comes from original game textures, decoded using NMSDK channel conventions. ProtoDigger offers eight preview forms; preview choice is not an exported ground-form override.
